Alan Folger collaboration

From an early age artist Alan Folger developed a love for clear water, tight casts

and rising trout. In between fishing trips he became a goldsmith and jewelry

designer, a sculptor and painter, a salesman and business executive. After owning

two retail jewelry design boutiques and a fine gold wholesale manufacturing

company he entered the non-profit world, leading eventually to his role as the

original Director of the Trout Unlimited Veterans Service Partnership. In that role

Alan built the program to over two-hundred chapters in partnership with Project

Healing Waters Fly Fishing and others.

During this same period Alan revisited his earlier love for painting and in the

process created an impressive sampling of trout art for retail sale and book

illustrations, and more recently, at his wife’s urging he dusted off his jewelry

design equipment and created a line of trout jewelry, which among other design
